Preparing the world directory

The world directory is designed to report server availability, population, region, world type, and current activity without exposing private infrastructure.

The portal currently displays representative data. Once the service is enabled, the same interface will receive short-lived snapshots from the live directory and refresh while the page is visible.

An unavailable directory will be shown as an outage rather than as an empty world list, so players always receive an honest status.
